Choices for families
You can discuss the destination, timing and arrangements you are considering. Requirements differ between countries and may involve authorities or other organisations; ask the branch which parts it can help coordinate.

Repatriation
Repatriation involves transporting a person who has died to or from another country. The documents, route and requirements depend on the countries and circumstances involved.
Before the service
Your funeral director can explain what information may be needed and help identify the requirements to confirm for the countries involved. Documents, permissions and timing depend on the circumstances.
During the service
The agreed arrangements follow the requirements of the relevant countries and transport providers. Your funeral director can explain the confirmed steps and keep you informed about what to expect.
Afterwards
Once the agreed arrangements are complete, your family can continue with the next steps in the destination country. Ask your funeral director which documents or follow-up information will be available.
What the funeral director can help arrange
Your funeral director can discuss the arrangements this branch can help coordinate, identify requirements that need confirmation, and explain any third-party costs before you decide.
Costs and price information
The total cost depends on the arrangements you choose and any third-party fees. These can vary by provider and location. Review this branch's published price information and ask for an up-to-date, itemised explanation before confirming arrangements.
